Perfectly on time weeknotes - W48

Here are my weeknotes from November 25 to December 1st, 2025!

Okay so this is so late already I feel like my next weeknotes will be about nothing. Don’t get me wrong, these notes are not mentioning what has happened during the last few days, but in the end most of it consists of worrying about publishing these notes in the first place.

This was definitely not published on a Thursday, it’s definitely not backdated or anything…

You already got my monthly summary so, shut it!

Btw, I genuinely enjoyed the few videos I shared this time, in case you always skip those, especially the third one, it was a very interesting essay!

On to the notes!

  • This week was not a very productive one in any sense, I spent a lot of time on social media, scrolling away and stuff, so many of the posts and ideas I’ve had were postponed, so now they’ll have to wait for next week, where they’ll hopefully be dealt with.

  • Well, my dog’s leg got a pretty ugly bruise because he kept dragging it all the time, even the bandages peeled off overtime. Eventually I figured out a way to keep the leg lifted up with a collar, and now there’s no issue, we’ll talk to a vet soon to see the options available.

  • I started to work on a pretty interesting idea for the blog! It will be a very fun post that I’ll publish, hopefully this week! It should be really, really awesome, so look forward to it!

  • Some family friends came for a visit, and they actually came in a camper! They are travelling through the country on it, which is pretty fun.

  • I didn’t watch any movies or anything like that, didn’t read either, so the only extra thing here will be my gaming progress!

Gaming

I actually didn’t make much progress in most of the games I’ve been playing lately. The whole week has been dedicated to shorter multiplayer titles once again, it’s been a fun change of pace, but I want to finish a proper game soon enough.

  • Mario vs Donkey Kong - This little gem of the GBA has been my main dish on my Anbernic handheld for the last couple weeks, as you may see. I finally completed World 3, the first one where I get all the high scores! I’ll get them on the previous worlds and then more to the 4th. It has been super fun!
  • Nintendo Switch Sports - Okay, it had been ages since I last played a match of Golf with friends, and this was a pretty crazy match. Yes, it’s Golf, and it has it’s boring moments in between. But when playing with friends those are the moments filled with banter and jokes or advice sometimes, and then the time to shoot came, and the anticipation and the build-up and the success and failures would provide us with lots of emotion. We played 9 holes and it was glorious. Also played volleyball and bowling, very fun too!
  • TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge - We played this a bunch and multiple days, sometimes with some people, some other time with others, I even tried it again with the friends I beat it with ages ago but in harder difficulty, we are on episode 4 so far, but we gotta git gud.
  • Super Mario 3D World - Another nice amount of completed levels for this game, I am still getting all the stickers and stars before completing the last world though. It’s super chaotic when playing with others, not gonna lie, but fun nonetheless.

  • My “Games” setup. - I should write something like this myself, it would be fun to just list everything gaming related I have in one post, why not?
  • Channeling my inner grandpa - Just a fun post about embracing getting old, or becoming a grumpy old man, or something
